“Grave”

I am screaming yet nobody can hear.

In darkness, I am trapped in my own fears.

I wiped my eyes still it isn’t clear.

I tried to swim yet I am drowning in my own tears.

I reached for you but you’re not there.

You’re presence is near, but you’re nowhere.

I wiped my eyes but its all a blur.

I shout your name, but it seemed that you don’t care.

I smiled and cried! like I am mad.

I laugh and smiled though I am sad.

In darkness, I am trapped in soil and mud.

I tried to swim yet I am drowning in my own blood.

Our love died in the absence of trust.

I will say I love you I know I must.

This is the end I have reached my dusk.

As I heard a man whisper! from ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
